Does your family like hiking? Maybe you’ve always wanted to know more about local plants and animals, but you weren’t sure where to start? Do you have questions about keeping children safe in areas with rattlesnakes? Do you want to learn to identify animal tracks, or wild clay, or useful plants for making teas?
Join us for a guided hike with Wild Kin teacher and naturalist Kat. Kat is a wilderness CPR + First Aid certified teacher who will guide you on a low intensity group hike to be in community in nature and answer questions. This is a great opportunity for beginners looking to start building up their naturalist skills!

The guided hikes are geared more toward our elementary aged children, but we welcome eager younger adventurers that have some hiking stamina, as well as those young ones that are happy in a pack.
